Homeschooling! Sounds alittle unpleasant, rigt? Well, in truth, it's not. usually, people think of Homeschooling in a wrong way, when in truth, it helps. See, kids aren't usually fit for school. Real school. Most don't even pay attenion, and the other several get bullied. Why is that? Because, in the horrible, tough reality, school is a child's jail. Homeschooling isn't as bad as people think. Homeschooling is actually an extremely safe way to teach your kids, keep them smart and save them from Emotional abuse.

Even if it ma seem that kids are stuck inside their homes for eernity, they aren't. Only six hours. And, actually, it doesn't even have to be inside! Parents will usually teach outside to relax their children from the daily stress from inside the house. Which brings us to socialization. Yes, it's called Homeschooling, and you get taught at home. But, that doesn't mean your isolated from the world. They have their WHOLE neighboorhood to search for a good, or relatively close friend. Not only that, but there's also computers and other technology. You'll definitely make a friend, if not mroe in the world somewhere, if they aren't already close to you. Remember, it's only six to eight hours.

Sometimes, in school, teachers aren't able to teach kids an easy way; the way their parents know. It's a plain fact. Parents know you better than anyone else you will ever meet or know. Which means that they witnessed your lower grade era's. They've witnessed you fail, and witnessed you win. They've witnessed your good days and bad. And, they will always know your screw up's somehow, 24/7. It would be a shame if they didn't know how you learn best! Teachers may go too fast for some children, others may go too slow. We're all different. So, why not learn by someone who will automatically know how to teach you, right? Plus, some kids are not in the right position to learn properly. Some may have serious mental disorders that may give them slow learning, memory loss, bad hearing/vision, Bi-Polar(Mood swings), Tourettes(Twitches that come randomly), severe anger issues or any crippled feaure that can result to having a bad learning ability. Not only that, but children could be extremely busy to stay ahead in school. They could be in sports, a school team or an after school activity. Then, the next day, they'll totally forget about their homework, even doing it or getting the assignment at all! Plus, they might not even have time afterwards to do it. Teachers will most likely NOT slow down a lesson for one, simple kid.

Finally, there is bullying. Bullying is the number one reason parents Homeschool, despite there intelligent qaulity or their teaching and learning abiliity. Almost 600 tennagers a year kill themselves. And that's for bullying alone! I'm sure parents don't want their child to die; not even knowing it until the last second. So, they did the right thing. Homeschooled them right away to save them from emotionall stress and high depression.

Homeschooling is actually, in truth, the best way to possibley go when you want to teach your child. You'll save them from drama, from confusion, and from death! So, would you want to homeschool your children?

We had to write a Persausive Essay for Langauge arts. And, his right here is my edited rough draft. So, technically, it's my final draft.

I wanted to do an Essay on Abortion, and how it IS a good way to go, if they want it.

But, NOOOO.

We had to do the same subject as our stupid DEBATES.~

Bleh.

Enjoy.

Nice essay! I'm a homeschool graduate and I have to say, I totally agree with you. My mother taught me way better than my public school teachers, and my college professors. Public school was too easy for me, I got done way to fast and sat silent and bored to death in class. I drew on all my papers, i guess it worked out thouhg because I just graduated from art school ) but my mother did ninfact know how to teach me best. I got all higher than grde level material in everything but math. That was my weak point. I used grade level math and took algebra 2 (all you end up needing in college anyway) 2 years in a row. Everything else I would finish the days work in less than 3 hours. The rest of my timewas doing activities outside like horseback riding and tennis and tag. I had no chilrend in my neighborhood so my mother and her other homeschooling friends started a massive homeschool group and we also joined a second even bigger one so when it came time to graduate we had a stupendous graduation ceremony. We had near constant field trips that our homeschool group would go all out on, renting out buildings and by ships and parks. We would drive for hours to get to interesting places. Then we had homeschoool science and history fairs that were the single best things I ever did in homeschool. we won trophies and medals and savings bonds and certificates. We competed against hundreds of homeschoolers through out the whole state, not just one grade level at one school so it was a tremendous wonderful challenge!

My favorite place to do my school was outside my rv on my deerlease. we would homeschool through the summer so we could afford to take the ENTIRE fall and winter easy and live at our deerlease. later I would do much of my college work at that same deerlease, it was in the leaves and dirt that I learn best.

some polls say people want to go to public school, i understand not everyone had my experience, but I never thought of ever going back :)

Keep up the good work!

So, I should just restart the whole thing? Well, thanks.

Well, just make so that it's not sounding like a complete fact. Just put a few "I think" or "in my opinion"s, etc.

Take this from the eyes of someone who's experienced.
It's not fun for everyone.
It's not pleasant at all.
My mother drove me half insane
Most parents do tend to keep their children inside
Sometimes you don't have many kids around your age group that would make good friends in your neighborhood.
I only have about three kids In my neighborhood.
They're siblings and are all 5.
And recent statistics show that the majority of children would prefer to go to regular school
And from BULLYING alone there's only about 40-50 suicides a year.
I can understand this to be persuasive, but it's a bit too narrow minded and only through your perspective. (no offense)
And it's NO WHERE near fact that your parents know you better than anyone.
Sasha, Casey, Adam and you know me FAR better than my parents.
Same goes for most of my friends.

And I did NOT mean to offend you by this.
It's just one of my pet peeves when persuasive things are narrow minded. I understand sharing more information to support your side, but it's when it's like saying that EVERY kid should be homeschooled or when it's exaggerating horrible things like suicide.
